Windsor Smith Home Collection reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions whenever you purchase products from us or use our Web Site.
Shipping and Processing Fees
Our shipping and processing charges are a pass through cost, intended to compensate the shipping company directly for the cost of processing your order, handling and blanket wrapping or packing the products you purchase and delivering them to you with White Glove in home service. We encourage you to also review detailed information about our shipping and processing fees.
Return Policy
All products in the Windsor Smith Home Collection line are custom created. Goods may only be returned for manufacturer's defects and damage claims. We recommend obtaining swatches to be sure of color and texture prior to ordering.
Measure, Measure, Measure
Please remember to check the dimensions, which are approximate, to be sure any items you are selecting for purchase are able to make it through all doorways, hallways, stairways, elevators and similar prior to your purchase. Remember that often an item might fit through a door but will not make the turn at the top of the stairs! Measure the entire route that the item will need to travel once it arrives to be certain it will fit.
Possible Allergens
We often use down and goose feathers in the production of our upholstered goods and pillows. Please consider this when purchasing if you or another family member are allergic to down.
Order cancellations
If you find the need to cancel an order, please do so within 72 hours of submitting your order either by fax or by email at info@wshcollection.com. You will receive a confirmation of the cancellation at that time and receive full credit. Since our products are all custom made, we can offer a 7 day cancellation policy for a fee of 40% of the total order. Any cancellations after 7 days of receipt of your order, will be credited only the shipping charges. Please understand that we do not stock goods like a big box provider, our goods are custom made by hand and as such we incur costs immediately after receiving your order in order to begin production. We appreciate your understanding.
Warranty
We provide a 7 year warranty on construction and hardwood frames.
Use and Purpose
The products created and sold by Windsor Smith Home Collection are for standard and customary residential usage only. These pieces are not to be used for other than their intended purpose.
Product Care
We suggest if you receive loose cushion soft goods that you reverse and rotate your cushions every few weeks to ensure the most even wear. Please note that you should NOT use cleaning products on our wood finishes, instead clean with a lightly damp soft cloth. Do remember that it is best to pick an item up to move it rather than to scoot it, especially on highly textured floor coverings. This especially applies to items that are on casters as the textured flooring can pull and damage the caster.
Stain finishes
Since the condition and origin of the woods may vary the stains may vary in color up to 15%.
Methods of Payment
Designers who have registered with us in our Design Trade Program may pay by company check or by credit card. Payment in full is required prior to beginning production.
